Hall of Fake
A collection of panels portraying some of the most notable art forgers of the 20th century. Each panel is a mounted photographic print which is then gold-leafed by hand.
Hall of Fake loosely references the Kensington Valhalla mosaics in the V&A Museum, London, which depicts celebrated arts and craftsmen, including Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael with great prestige. Hall of Fake offers the similar prestige to four less revered artists.
